Yesterday at noon, I found this chick carcass lying on the ground two blocks away from where I stay. The weather was very hot at that time when I saw the carcass and there were flies flying around it. I took a closer look and saw its beak had a close resemblence to those of mynahs. And so, I assumed that this chick belongs to that specie. There are a lot of mynahs flying around the blocks here. Wondering how did the chick died, I looked up the building near the path where I found the carcass. I noticed that there were a few birds' nests near the windows. I guess the chick might have fell to its death from its nest. What a pity... if only the nest is big enough or has some sort of support keeping it stable, this unfortunate thing wouldn't have happened.
