Cockroach
Physical Appearance:
-Two pairs of wings where the first pair are harder and act as a strong shield covering the second pair which are the hind wings
- Has a relatively small head, a wide and flattened body, three pairs of legs with five claws on each, a pair of long and thin antennae, chewing mandibles, ten segments on its abdomen, and a few cerci
- Able to crawl relatively fast
- Some posses certain distinguishable smell or ordour
- Mostly dwell in dark and damp places such as garbage and inside rotten logs
- Life cycle: egg - nymph - cockroach (adult)
- Incomplete metamorphosis
Food Source:
- Nymph and adult: Both are omnivorous

Mantis/Praying Mantis
Physical Appearance:
- A pair of spiked forelegs which enables it to catch hold of prey easily
- Has wings and is able to jump at a certain distance
- Three segments on its body part: head, thorax and abdomen
- Has an elongated thorax that allows better movement for its forelegs
- Has a pair of compound eyes, mouthpart which is called labrum, three pairs of legs, a pair of short antennae, flexible articulation of the head that gives it the possiblity of turning its head in 300 degree movement
- Good in camouflaging or blending its body colour to the surroundings
- Life cycle: egg - nymph - mantis (adult)
- Incomplete metamorphosis
Food Source:
- Nymph and adult: Most species eat their own kind or known as cannibalism. Ordinary species usually prey on smaller insects such as bees and ants while larger ones are capable in preying on smaller lizards, frogs and rodents
