Run Away Snail

Few weeks ago, I saw this snail on the walkway near my block. It was raining heavily that night and I was having a meeting with my group members discussing about our Japanese drama performance. To me, snail is something that I seldom see here. It could be running away from the rain. LOL If not mistaken, this snail was only about 10 cm in length which was far more smaller than the first I saw in the campus. It's fascinating, well, to me, seeing it carries such a big coiled shell on its back with its cute tiny eyes sticking out from its body or head. It left a trail of mucus behind as it moved. So, that made him an easy prey. I could still remember the first time I saw snail eggs when I was still a kid. The eggs were small and yellow compared to earthworm eggs which were slightly white or kinda transparent. I had fun digging out the eggs with my dad's spade. Hehehe... they're such a slow moving creature but still, considered as pests to most gardeners.
